Night Table

Privacy Policy

Effective 5 October 2026

Night Table is an offline 8-ball pool game. This policy explains what happens to your information when you play it. The short version: we don't collect any.

Who we are

Night Table is made and published in Canada by Jelan shahi, trading as Jellypop Studios. For anything to do with privacy, write to jellypop102@gmail.com. We are the person responsible for the small amount of information described below — the "organization" under Canada's PIPEDA, and the "data controller" under the UK and EU GDPR.

What we collect

Nothing. Night Table has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party tracking SDKs. The game never connects to the internet and does not send any data to us or to anyone else. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use your information for advertising or profiling.

What stays on your device

To remember your choices, the game saves two small items in the app's own storage on your device:

This information never leaves your device. You can erase it at any time by deleting the app.

Permissions

Night Table does not ask for access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location or notifications. It uses the phone's vibration motor for haptic feedback, which you can turn off in Settings.

If you email us

If you write to us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to put in your message. We use it only to answer you, we do not add you to any mailing list, and we delete support messages once the matter is closed and no later than 12 months afterwards. Our email is handled by Google (Gmail) as our email provider.

Apple

You download Night Table from Apple's App Store, and Apple handles that under its own privacy policy, not this one. If you have turned on "Share with App Developers" in your iPhone's Privacy & Security settings, Apple may show us anonymous, grouped statistics and crash reports for the app. We cannot identify you from them and we receive nothing if you leave that setting off.

Your rights

Privacy laws give you rights to see, correct and delete the personal information someone holds about you, and to complain if you are unhappy with how it was handled. That includes PIPEDA in Canada, the UK and EU GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Because we hold none, there is usually nothing for us to show or delete: your settings and stats live only on your phone and are yours to erase by deleting the app. If you have emailed us, you can ask us at any time for a copy of that correspondence or to have it deleted, and we will do so within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca, or to the privacy regulator where you live — in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office, and in the EU your national data protection authority.

Children

Night Table is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children, and it contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no chat and no links out to other websites.

Keeping information safe

Your settings and stats are stored in the app's own private storage, which iOS keeps separate from other apps and includes in your device's encryption and in encrypted backups, if you make them. Since nothing is transmitted, there is no server of ours that could be breached.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If the game ever starts collecting data, this page will say so before that version is released.
